Pi Network Issues Critical Reminder to Users
Pi Network reminds users of the November 30 KYC deadline, urging compliance as the community awaits updates on the mainnet launch.
Pi Network has issued a crucial reminder to its users regarding an impending deadline that they need to comply with. The community is eagerly anticipating whether the project will meet its targets as the deadline approaches.
One Month Remaining for KYC
Pi Network, a topic of considerable debate in the crypto space, has yet to launch its native token and open mainnet after five years of development. Earlier this year, the project encouraged users to complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures to progress toward these goals. The initial deadline was set for the end of September but has since been extended.
The latest reminder indicates that the KYC verification process, referred to as the Grace Period, will remain open until November 30, 2024.
"One month left to secure your Pi! Complete the first Grace Period deadline by submitting your KYC application by November 30, 2024!" - Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam)
The team has assured users that those who do not meet the deadline will receive an individual Grace Period timer. This timer will continue to count down while the KYC process is pending and will pause if the user encounters specific issues such as being ineligible to apply, being stuck in the KYC process for over a month, or experiencing system delays.
Community Expectations
As the deadline approaches, the community is left wondering if Pi Network will fulfill its objectives, given the history of delays and postponed events that have frustrated users. Many are looking forward to December when the Pi Core Team is expected to unveil more details regarding the mainnet roadmap, which would facilitate the buying and selling of Pi tokens.
